Peculiar day, City. Of course it doesn't escape me that today is April Fool's Day. It isn't beyond you to celebrate it as a holiday. And what a disorganized, un-uniformed fashion.

Several of you are unchanged while others are carrying on in the most ridiculous of fashion. Even for a curse the results vary greatly.

The deities want to make a point that we are times prisoners, our John Constantine for example is literally captive. How do you fair, John?

How will this battle be won? You all have done so well thus far. Such trials to defend your own and seek out those lost.

It's pleasing and disheartening to see so many varied warriors from the prideful, the pure hearted to the greedy, the deranged...with their weapons of intellect, tact and material. The qualities of materials sum up to mean that they are breakable and can fail you.

Now is the time, City. "Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. Contrary to popular belief, it was not in winter. Shepherds don't comfortably sleep in the open at night especially in the cold of winter. They were about 2 kilometers East from Bethlehem, just outside of the village of Beit Sahour "Place of the Magi" as some call it. The sky was so clear, every star paled in comparison to that star.

Can you imagine? These days you hardly see the stars with all of those electronic lights. I imagine that is part of how the tradition came to pass. Light is important. It guides the way doesn't it? He is the Way, the Truth and the Light. And one star to outside the others was a signal.

I was not able to see Him with my own eyes, the night of His birth. It was the first time my feet touched ground since I spoke with the young bride of Joseph. I can almost remember the cool blades of grass beneath my toes as I and others watched the flock and sang.

You give gifts because of Him. It began as a reminder of the greatest gift of all that has been given to you, mortal man. Salvation.

The streets that were awash with suffering and chaos rest quiet. Re-animated bodies of the dead have reverted to average human form. I don't believe this is a miracle. I assume that this was a curse that many have warned of.

What is the purpose? Are these deities attempting to invoke faith in them?

Father. Father. Father, please a word, a whisper, anything.

This is clearly not done by God's hand. Father, I can't hear you.  I applaud your skill, seamless. Around the corner and soon in an entirely different place. Bravo. But I have seen far better.
